There is great news for graphics professionals and print shops! From September 2026, HP introduces the HP Designjet Z6 and Z9+ PostScript Plus Edition. This renewed series builds on the success of the legendary Z-series, but offers a range of powerful upgrades in performance, security, and sustainability.
What’s new in the Plus Edition?
The Plus Edition models (HP DesignJet Z6 and Z9⁺) introduce several innovations that take your print workflow to the next level:
- Higher speeds: The Plus Edition is designed to process large files faster thanks to more powerful internal hardware and optimizations in the Adobe PDF print engine.
- Advanced security with HP Wolf Pro Security: Protect your corporate network and data with best-in-class security. With built-in HP Wolf Pro Security, your devices are protected against malware and cyber attacks by default.
- Vibrant photo quality: Equipped with HP Pixel Control and HP Vivid Photo inks, this series remains the standard for seamless transitions and striking, colorfast photo prints.
- Ecologically responsible: The use of recycled plastics in the design and cartridge packaging contributes to a more sustainable printing process without sacrificing quality.
Ideal for Graphics & GIS
Whether you are considering the Z6 Plus Edition for highly accurate GIS maps and technical documents, or the Z9⁺ Plus Edition for high-end photographic reproductions and canvas prints, you bring a system into your business that integrates seamlessly into your existing IT infrastructure. Moreover, the built-in vertical cutter saves you a significant amount of time when manually trimming posters and prints.
Available from September 2026
The new devices can be ordered through Europlan and will be delivered starting from September 2026.
